What story? I watched it, and I thought nice animation but the story is pretty illogical and by that I mean it makes no sense AT ALL. But I guess that's because different artists made their own story arch.

Deadmau5 got his mouse head from him playing around in a 3D program where he created a Pacman, but he added ears to it and called it a mouse head. I doubt he got any inspiration from heavy metal, but if he did, DAYUM, it delivered.
Heavy Metal is one of my favorite movies, even though the scene where the kid got shot with like 5 spikes gave me a fear of blood.

According to my info, Deadmau5 was messing with a 3D object program and started throwing some circles together and said "Hey, I made a pacman, let's put some ears on it" he said in an interview.
I only have one thing to say about that coincidence.

:D <--- It's not that hard to figure out. I believe what you are referring to here is what is commonly known as the "Happy Face". Gee, Deadmaus is SO unoriginal.
Also, Heavy metal IS a pretty badass movie.

Heavy Metal is so weird. I thought the animation was fantastic, I mean, the character movement sucked, but there was a FBF hand drawn animation of a panorama of the landscape with terrain in 3d, and I highly doubt anybody on newgrounds could make something like that scene.
Also, chicks were hot. But yeah, I think deadmau5 is a little overhyped. There are tons of artists on Newgrounds like Paragon-X9, xKore and Sirdangolot5 who are just as good if not better.
